“Plantations For Sale, on a long credit. The subscriber offers for sale 640 acres of LAND, lying within two miles of Monticello, 210 acres of which is cleared and under a good fence, a good Gin-House, Gin, Packing Screw, Dwelling House, Stables and Negro-Houses. I will also sell 1000 bushels Corn, 10,000 lbs. Fodder, two Mules & three Horses, Plantation Tools, &c. Also, 1580(?) acres of LAND lying on Mickasooky Lake, 420 of which is cleared, & Corn, Fodder, Oats, Mules, and Horses. The most of the above Tracts of Land are first rate Hammock(?), and the cleared land will produce from 1000lbs. to 1800lbs. of Cotton per acre. -R.J. Hackley. Jan. 10, 1836. P.S.
